Kevin finds himself entangled in a web of debt with dangerous loan sharks, none more menacing than Bobby.
As the relentless Hammerheads, Bobby’s associates, close in on him, Kevin faces an additional challenge — caring for his two children for the first time in three months.
Caught between the responsibilities of parenthood and the threat of the Hammerheads, Kevin becomes the central figure in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse chase. Determined to protect his children, he goes on the run with his kids, only to find the Hammerheads hot on their trail. Bobby, incensed by the chase, unleashes his fury, despising runners and liars, with a punishment for snitching that goes beyond stitches.
In a desperate bid for freedom, Kevin must make life-altering decisions not only for himself but also for a newfound friend, Milly, unwittingly drawn into Bobby’s den as bait to ensnare Kevin. As the tension escalates, “Lie, Run, Snitch” unfolds into a gripping tale of survival, loyalty, and the high cost of escaping the clutches of a vengeful underworld.

I’ve crafted this screenplay to shed light on a pressing issue. In England alone, over a million individuals may currently be indebted to illegal money lenders (loan sharks). These predators resort to intimidation, violence, and revenge to enforce payments. The recent surge in the cost of living, exacerbated by lockdowns and economic instability, has disproportionately impacted single parents, the unemployed and low-income earners. What begins as manageable debt quickly spirals out of control, pushing individuals to desperate measures, including criminal activities. Additionally, a lack of trust in the police further compounds the problem. This isn’t just an individual or family matter; it’s a societal crisis that impacts everyone. The ripple effects of loan sharks’ actions drain public resources. Poverty is the driving force behind this cycle, perpetuated by a political system that offers scant support, leaving individuals trapped in financial turmoil with no lifeline in sight.
