After 35 years in cryogenic sleep, Ryan wakes to find his past self has unleashed a catastrophic internet bug. With his intellect diminished, he must now prevent the bug from destroying the global ‘Right to Freedom’ points system and igniting a purge of terrorism.
Awakening from a 35-year cryogenic slumber, Ryan finds himself untouched by time while the world around him has evolved into a utopian landscape. Tasked with resolving a cybernetic catastrophe he inadvertently triggered three decades ago, his creation now erodes identities and disrupts the R2F points system, determining citizens’ freedom.
However, Ryan’s intellectual prowess has waned, casting him as a mere shadow of his former self. Struggling to trust those responsible for his revival, he grapples with haunting flashbacks that hint at enemies that are now his carers . Guided by enigmatic tattoos on his wrist, he embarks on a journey to unravel the mystery of his past and confront his role in rectifying the hack.
As he seeks answers, Ryan confronts the unsettling question of why his previous self sought to dismantle today’s infrastructure, unraveling a complex web of motives. The consequences of failure loom large, leaving him to ponder whether the new version of himself is inherently good, and if the old Ryan harbored malevolent intentions. In a race against time, he must navigate moral ambiguity, decode his own history, and decide whether to be a savior or succumb to the shadows of his former self.
